Quick Tip: Scarf as a Belt

I was perusing through blogs and this girl's look caught my eye.  It was a pretty simple outfit--loose, sheer short-sleeved blue top with a feminine, flouncy skirt.  But in between the two pieces was a knotted silk scarf being used as a belt.  HOW CUTE was that?? The scarf made the outfit, and I dare you to try it too!  Get any of your old silk scarves (or steal some from your mom) and play around with different looks.  You can match the colors together or create a solid-colored outfit with a bright scarf to contrast it.
