No. 15 Magazine

A couple of weeks ago, I modeled in an editorial for No. 15 Magazine, which is a new fashion publication at UCSD. They will release their first issue this Saturday at their launch party. It's this Saturday, May 1st, 8pm-1am at the Village at UCSD. Click here for more details.

Here are some behind the scenes pictures from the editorial, taken by Liz Kim, Marketing Director.

Spotlight on Broken Doll Models

Thanks to the amazing Broken Doll Models staff, I am featured in their Spotlight section on their website! Take a look at the facebook feature and also my profile!

Haiti Benefit Fashion Show

April 17th I coordinated the Haiti Benefit fashion show held at UCSD. We had three amazing designers - Fables by Barrie, Clover & Folly, and Ana Giselle. With 20+ models, designers, makeup artists, and hairstylists, there definitely was chaos throughout the entire day. After all the stress and craziness, the end result was amazing and I had the time of my life. Take a look at the behind the scenes video, produced by Manuel from The Final Statement.

La Jolla Fashion Film Festival

In the morning, I read on their facebook page that they were looking for photographers last minute because some canceled for that night. I told Kyle right away, and after a few calls and arrangements, we were both able to attend the event!

Last night was a night full of random surprises! I saw a few people I've worked with in past photo shoots. It was a great surprise and made the night even more fun and memorable. :) The short films were all amazing in their own way and it was a pleasure appreciating and sharing this art and experience with other like-minded individuals.

Project Ethos Fashion Show

Thursday night, I went to Project Ethos Fashion Show at On Broadway in downtown San Diego with Kyle and a few of the beautiful ladies from Fashion Quarterly! It was at a great venue with great people, and an awesome ambiance. It was even better since we got VIP seats and special treatment. ;) Here are a few pictures, taken by Kyle with The Final Statement. Check out more pictures from this event at www.thefinalstatment.net.

The beautiful Dagmar (M.I. Models) and Jesus Estrada from Project Runway Season 7! He is our featured designer in our Spring 2010 issue, releasing on May 21! Keep a lookout for more details!

There were a lot of talented designers and it was great to see some old friends again! Project Ethos sure did a great job with this event! I can't wait to see more of their events.

Mid April already?

Hello everyone!

Oh man, it's been way too long since I last blogged. A lot has happened since then and I can't wait to share some of the highlights with you.

This past weekend was pretty intense! I coordinated a fashion show at UCSD for EMERGENCE: Benefit Party for Haiti. There were 20 models, 2 makeup artists, 3 hairstylists, and 3 designers. From 12-8pm it was nonstop chaos...I loved it! Despite all the stress and backstage drama, thanks to my FQ girls the show was a complete success! Here are some behind the scene pics (credit to Fatema):

Yesterday I shot with the amazing Gary Lyons. It was such an honor to work with him and to meet all of the talented hair/makeup artists on set. He shot my favorite headshots, EVER! Take a look (these weren't taken yesterday):

This Thursday I'm going to Project Ethos with FQ girls to watch Garden Party, Jesus Estrada, and Goga by Gordana, and other designers! It's at On Broadway event center at 8pm. For more information check out www.projectethos.com!
